This chair/footrest combo was a wedding present to one member of the Archizoom Group from the other members. This iconic chair not only plays with the levant minimalism of Mies van der Rohe, but has come to represent 1960s-1970s, Italian Radical Design.

The Archizoom Group based their theories on a need to upend the predominantly bourgeois architectural tendencies of the time.

This piece is simultaneously luxurious and yet essential.
